Summary
Oversight of all processing operations for a 1 million tpy surface aggregate operation. Manage the safety of multiple hourly reports. Oversee all aspects of processing facilities including production, quality control and maintenance. Strong career path to more senior operations roles. EASTERN US LOCATION. Responsibilities
- Works is concert with Senior Operations Manager developing / managing all maintenance, production and safety initiatives.
- Works with Senior Operations Manager developing lean and process improvement strategies.
- Manages and supervises activities of hourly production and maintenance employees
- Provides coaching and disciplinary counseling to employees under his or her area of responsibility
- Ensures employees receive proper training and instructions to perform job duties
- Identifies, assesses, prioritizes, and resolves production and employee related problems
- Promotes a safe work environment that meets all State and Federal rules and regulations
- Manages plant production operation to ensure cost efficiency and optimal utilization of plant and equipment
Requirements
- BS in Mining Engineering or similar
- 1+ years experience in a mining environment
- Strong hands-on maintenance experience with fixed-plant equipment
- Knowledge and understanding of OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations
- Sets strong personal example and influences others to improve by using high energy and positive attitudes
